Testosterone & SHBG Home Test Kit
Assess your Free Androgen Index (FAI) for optimum control
You can feel flat, foggy, or notice changes in libido, mood, cycles, or body composition, yet still be told your testosterone is “normal”. Total testosterone alone does not always reflect how much is available for your body to use.
This test measures testosterone and Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG), then uses them to estimate free testosterone and the Free Androgen Index. It can add context when symptoms do not match total testosterone, support assessment of hormone balance in situations such as PCOS or androgen deficiency or excess, and help you monitor change over time, including during hormone therapy.
If you want a clearer picture of biologically active testosterone, this test gives you objective data you can act on with confidence.

What the Testosterone & SHBG test is for
You can have symptoms that suggest a hormone imbalance, such as changes in libido, mood, energy, cycles, or body composition, even when a single “total testosterone” result looks within range. This home blood test is designed to add clarity by looking at testosterone alongside Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG), a transport protein that affects how much testosterone is actually available to your tissues.
By measuring total testosterone and SHBG, the test estimates free testosterone and calculates the Free Androgen Index. These calculated results help indicate biologically active testosterone, which can be more informative than total testosterone alone when symptoms and standard results do not line up.
Testing from home with a home test kit can support the assessment of hormone balance in situations such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), suspected androgen excess or deficiency, and it can be used to monitor change over time, including during hormone therapy. The aim is not to label a number as “good” or “bad”, but to give you objective data that makes your next decision clearer.
