What is Polygenic Risk Scoring
Polygenic risk scoring is a method that uses multiple genetic variants to calculate an individual's risk for developing certain diseases, including cancer. It aggregates the effects of numerous small genetic variations to create a single score representing genetic risk.
Note that polygenic risk scoring does not account for environmental factors or lifestyle choices that also contribute to cancer risk. We also recommend our blood tests for this.
